Maximiliano Rodrigo Ciovich (Buenos Aires, 1986) studied Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA), where he also taught in the fields of architectural representation and design. He currently teaches the course Critical Approaches to Exhibition, Art, Architecture and Spatial Design (ACDE) at the School of Architecture and Urban Studies at Torcuato Di Tella University.
He trained in offices linked to various disciplines, including architecture, landscape design, civil engineering, industrial design, and urbanism. His practice has developed within the fields of architecture and design through independent projects such as ITMET, an office focused on experimental approaches, where he deepened his engagement with material research and production processes. In this context, he initiated the design and research workshop Sistema (SSTM) as a platform for project-based experimentation. He was also co-director of ADM, a space dedicated to exploring the relationship between art, architecture, and heritage through exhibitions and curatorial programs.
He is the founder of 322A, a practice dedicated to the design and production of spaces, objects, and exhibitions, with a focus on technical development and the articulation between design and fabrication. His work centers on material research, fostering collaborations with professionals from diverse fields to establish a heterogeneous and transdisciplinary approach.
He has participated in lectures and academic activities at national institutions such as FADU-UBA, Torcuato Di Tella University, and the National University and College of Architects of Córdoba, as well as internationally at Escola da Cidade (São Paulo) and ETH Zürich. His work has been published in national and international media including Revista Plot, Summa+, Dezeen, Manera Magazine, Domus, AIT Architektur, and L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui.
